You must been wondering, where on earth have i been? Why was my last entry ended in July 2010?!
To be honest i have been really busy with my full time work, too tired to be bothered. But i miss planning! So the upcoming party would be my daughter's 4th birthday party. Yes i know i did promised my dearest hubby that we won't throw a party next year.
Again here, i am to addicted with kids party planning and i insist of doing it with my own budget??!! Can aa? Hehhe...so here we go a small scaled party for sarah and 10 girls only??
Can i find 10 girls? I tried to list down, but i only have elli laaa! The rest are boys...including 2 of my nephew Luqman and Ilhan! Alaa...mana nak cari girls ni ??
That's already 4 place taken, so here we gooooo hunting for another 6 girls to be invited to sarah small bash.
Let us see, how small a birthday bash could be for a Party PLanner Like ME!! :P

Sarah, Elli & Luqman Birthday Bash!!
In my last entry somewhere in early March 2010, i was babbling on how excited i was to organized my own daughter's 3rd birthday bash together with my eldest bro's daughter and son on 27th March 2010.
The theme was actually a mixed theme, combo between Dora The Explorer (Sarah's), Princess Disney (Elli's) and Transformer (Luqman's)...but the main idea that striked me last minute during the chinese new year break...was actually a "Splish Splash Pool Party" :)
The kids love to swim, but when the party is held at the actual pool, most parent will worry in their kids' safety. I am one of the concerned parent too and decided why not we bring the pool to my mom's own backyard near the Zoo Negara housing area.
In organizing this type of party, you must have a large backyard,garden or space...i'm lucky because my parent fight for a bigger space for all of us to play at our own garden during the 80's (within their eye sights) hahaha...we even had camp fire among cousins when we were small! Talk about another ideas.."A camp fire" party perhaps for the boys in future during their early teens?? LOL! With the tents and camping gadgets..it would be fun to try!! Okay...i'm off the track again....
Another factor to consider is the weather. I was damn worried during that month, almost every day at 3pm it would rained. You should always have a PLAN B! Crucial in your checklist.

GREEN PARTY For KK
It's our big boss birthday 1st June 2010, we planned something boring and something thrilling!
Morning we begin with syiokk sendiri pot luck, breakfast and then nothing....the best part begin petang 6pm sharp after office hours.
The normal Tuesday Jog around Bukit Damansara were joined by everyone and including our MD Dato' Seri Z'. KK was really surprised that 99% joined the jog. Normally we can see only 40% LOL!! He didn't know that the CBG Club, organized a surprise thingy for him petang.
So we all warmed up and took a lot of group pictures, when they left the starting point which is our HQ, i and the rest of the secret agent start working. Me as usual the party supplier, and we are happy to use this space between Prokhas and our HQ. The mini jungle is totally ideal for relax mode theme!
So we start to hang the banners and the ruffles...then we know our boss hated sweet cake, so we ordered Pulut Kuning with Kari daging! Isrun's wife cook it. and design the 'KK" on the cake.
Pn Shahrul brought along her "ceremonial army sword" and he was pleased to use it to cut the pulut kuning.
My friend said, he was really surprise, he thought the boring pot luck in the morning,,,was just it! Hmmm guessed next year we really need to think of something more challenging!

Well.......It's the annual (i think so) Picnic with teddy bear@ KLCC!
A special function/picnic with kids bringing along their own teddies for games and activities.

I was really excited when i first saw the ticket booth last week @ KLCCFirst thing : "Ini Menariksss sekalissss"
Then what caught my attention is that Big Poster at the ticket booth located facing part of KFC and Toys R' Us (where Sepang F1 counter used to be)
Venue : Exhibition Hall 2. KLCC Convention Centre
Date: 6th June 2010, Sunday
Time : 7.30am to 12.30pm
Fee: RM35 for kid (must bring your own teddy)
FOC for parent accompanying

So i went home and i only managed to ask my hubby to purchase the tickets today.

what we missed was the age limit! Oh no only for kids 4 to 12 yrs old only.
Too bad,I saw Tain smiled secretly and i know.
I'll just have to wait for next year.

Mommy Ilhan and Ayah Ilhan planned the party on 2nd May, but he was dignosed with HFMD and was quarantined for 1 week. So finally today 21 days after his actual birth date, we had this mini get together among family members at their beautiful home sweet home in Cheras.

Clients!
I just started this business and i have decided to design a special form for my so-called "clients" to fill in the form and submit. The crucial part in this party planning is all about the budget and of course the duration that is given to us to plan. Preferential duration to plan at least 2 months in advance!
I need to talk to them one to one before proceeding with the quotation.
I have a collection of potential caterers with me, especially for this one particular who caters Birthday Parties! I just need to have a peek into my so called "party dictino"
Looking at niche of "kids market", but i think i shall take one step at a time. Being a banker on a full time basis hardly give us an oppotunity to ponder and clear your mind. I am determine to make this happen. Besides juggling between my very busy family commitments and social networking among others. :)
Pray for my success! I'll need to look ahead!!
Oh yes, if you are interested to get some consultation do not hesitate to email me...or fill in the form. For a start i am able to organize for a function with 100-150 crowd.

March = Sarah's Birthday Month!
PINK & PURPLE 3rd Birthday POOL Party!!
I guess every year, i and sarah will look foward for March to arrive. My planning for sarah's birthday did start from March 2009! (theme :Dora) Haha...but this time i'll tone down and share the party with my nephew and niece-Luqman & Elly.

The pool party idea occured to me somewhere late Feb, where sarah & ilhan mandi at Tok Ma's house. I wanted to host it somewhere with a real pool...but fear of the kids safety and of course would be easier for the parents to monitor the kids nearby.
so...there..that's the idea. But i must make sure that my guests knows that its not a real pool! LoL! one of my colleague dah berangan nak mandi sekali gan anak!
Joining force with my sister in law, kak nina...is of course a good team work!
