My best friend, Fazilah (Fazz) is expecting her 2nd baby in January 2010. As a part time party planner i am more than happy to host the surprise baby shower. I planned it since i got to know she was pregnant somewhere late June 2009. Precious hours spend to doodle the ideas to make sure all the details are planned and coordinate well.

The most challenging part in event organizing i think for me is to choose the perfect theme and the guests list. If you planned carefully u'll able to start hunting for your items for the party farrrr wayyy advance! which is of course i took advantage of the recent X-mas sale. :)

I shop for the IKEA blue and pink light since Oct 2009..the curtain turned into table covers too from IKEA ..LOL!

My favourite thematic deco is of course the Diaper Cake...i bought the newly born mami poko diapers as a premium choice of pampers recommended to Fazz somewhere in August 2009..and start doing the diaper cake in Oct...walla...everything was ready by the time i managed to get an impromtu date for everyone to gather which was last minutely confirmed on Monday 28th Dec 2009, got 4 days to ensure everything is in order.

At last on 1st January 2009, 9pm...we managed to host this wonderful baby shower :)
Finding a gimmick again...was a bit of last minute idea..where i asked aimi and nina to pretend together with me that we are picking Fazz up to bring her to a restaurant to have our usual casual get together...aimi blindfold her with a used black tudung which i have cut and fold nicely.
It was funny and fun...i had to get Fazz's hubby consent and asked Fazz's sister Angah to assist being the photographer.

So here we are...7 of us...(2 more were outstation)...

Main Course - Sweet corn,salad with cherry tomatoes and timun plus french dressing, hot fries, juicy lamb shoulder, rosemary gravy and marinated chicken drumsticks.

Dessert -Blue lagoon jelly with fruit cocktail , cupcakes and longan +laici in syrups

I have always have this interest to learn how to tie my own ribbons...and finally today...thanks to te technology of virtual information i managed to tie my own ribbon for the upcoming event that i'll be hosting...i'll upload my 1st ribbon (do it ur self) later...hahah

Make Your Own Party Food : CupCakes

Recipie:-Vanilla cake

2 eggs

1 1/2 cup of flour

3 t/sp of bicarbonate powder

3 t/sp of vanilla essence

250g of butter

2 cup of fine sugar

3 t/spn of fresh milk

Method:

Beat sugar n butter till creamy n soft

Add on eggs and beat till creamy

Add in vanilla essence

Add in bit by bit of flour plus the bicarbonate powder n milk.

stir in the shape of "8" (this is my mom's secret)

reheat ur oven 150degrees and bake for 45 mins.

topping:-

2 cups of icing sugar

3 t/sp of milk

3 t/sp on vanilla essence (or any of urs)

250g butter

method,

beat the butter together with the sugar

add in the milk n essence

add in your choice of coloring.(i prefer blue and green)

additional deco:0smarties or jelly worms

Cupcakes Chic

Cupcakes Chic!! I've been eyeing for this shop for ages and finally managed to try it today at their new branch in Pavillion. The signature cupcake is as per below where they use belgium chocolate to make this ine yummeh cuppie. The prices ranges from 1 piece for RM4.90, ^ pieces for RM29 something and a dozen for RM49.90! wow.....quite pricy compared to those you can personally order from individuals.

Johnny The Clown!

"Hi! I'm Johnny the Clown!!"
My "Jalan-Jalan Cari Party Supplies" this time lead me to this funny clown at Jaya Jusco Au2 on Saturday the 21st Nov,2009. I had observed him for ard 15 minutes and decided that he is funny and lovely with entertaining the kids with his act and balloons gifts!
There were sa lot of sword balloons,poodle design and later on i had requested for my daugther a cat!

My party sense alert me to take his number into my party clown collection number! So here i am, taking his picture in case i need to remember how does a Johnny The Clown look like...and the best part is...i got his mobile number! If you are interested to hire this clown for ur kids party...do inform me!
